Meet the Co-Founders
Robert Wilson
Travis and Robert’s friendship began at North Carolina Wesleyan University, where they both stood out as athletes in the USA South Conference. Their dedication to their sports, coupled with their shared passion for excellence, laid the foundation for a bond that would only grow stronger over time. This connection deepened when they both joined the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, forming a brotherhood rooted in shared values of achievement, leadership, and community.
After college and embracing their new roles as girl dads, they discovered a mutual love for golf. What started as a recreational pastime quickly became a passion they shared, sparking many rounds together and countless conversations about the sport.
In their pursuit to learn more about golf, Travis and Robert began conducting research. It was during this journey that they uncovered a startling fact: there were no African American owned Golf Club businesses. This realization ignited a sense of purpose in both of them. Motivated by their love for the game and a desire to make a meaningful impact, they set out to change the landscape of the sport—creating a space where African American entrepreneurs could thrive, and future generations of golfers could see themselves reflected in the industry.
